youngpup.net: Three.OH News Scroller
i’ve always loved the youngpup scroller he did for the late threeoh.com . It dates back from 2001, and i’m sure there will be people criticizing custom scrollbars, yet i do not. This one piece is extremely elegant, usable, and adds meta information to the user, such as the quicklinks, generated from each item of content (p tags with a “description” attribute). clever idea.
Well, that’s not completely W3C compliant, but a title tag would be, instead. And maybe an un/ordered list would be more appropriate, but thats easily fixed.
Anybody would be willing to transpose it into jquery , or prototype js frameworks ?
