phpMyAdmin theme
Last night i created a skin for the excellent, open source php script: phpmyadmin, (unless your mummy comes from Mars, you probably know that it’s a php script which allows to manage mySQL databases).
Although i love this script, its interface is not the most elegant. Fortunately, it is possible to “skin” it, so hop hop, i created a theme to suit my taste . You can find it in the “downloads” section.

Hey,
When you going to do an upload for this new version of phpmyadmin 2.11?
Pixeline rocks and it’s like the only one I use and I’m also put in on the dev servers. everyone loves it.
hey thanks! It’s actually one of the first feedbacks i got for this theme, so i’m glad you like it.
I haven’t updated phpmyadmin to 2.11 can you fastly tell me what changes have to be made?
Lemme have a look and try and install it again and check what is diff and try and fix… if a cannie do it, i’ll send you a list… how bout that???
My css aint that bad. never done a skin for phpmyadmin though.
Ok, so i’m going to need an email address where I can send the css updates to.. it was some minor things, like phpmyadmin 2.11 changed the way they handled the css and had to change all paths for images. I also added little margin adjustments for the main page database list. That is the new part.
hello mate,
you can send to alexandre[AT]pixeline.be ([AT] > @)
cheers!
Alex
Hey,
This theme looks great, but I am one of those stuck with version 2.11 of PhpMyAdmin. Couldn’t you post a little details about what needs to be fixed in the css while we’re waiting for the real update of the theme?
Thanks for a great theme!
Alfred
i’m working on it at the moment, check back in an hour…
the new one should be posted soon… i made an update and sent it to the admin.
so, there you go guys, you can download the new version on the downloads page. Vince, i modified a bit the styling you used for the database list … Hope you like my prop, and thanks again for the initiative!
Thanks!
I managed to fix the css by myself, but I guess I’ll try the real update instead!
Cheers!
